Formed in 2020, the Industrious is an ever-growing group of creatives and developers looking to bring problem-solving to organizations that value creativity and beauty. Although we are an independend design studio, we love to operate as co-workers with you, embedded in your creative teams, helping to solve your pressing needs to move the needle in your organization.

Jim Elliston
Founder, Creative Director
Jim has the privilege of leading the Industrious. He is an entrepreneur & designer who is passionate about creating beautiful products that help people. He has founded 13 companies, sold 2, and has launched 20+ brands and products.
Along with running the Industrious, Jim operates as a fractional head of design and product, working with other founders to help bring their ideas to market. He additionally works as an EIR, mentoring new startups through Cal Poly's Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in San Luis Obispo, CA.
